Cookies are small data files stored on your device that assist us in improving our Services, analyzing which areas and features are popular, and counting visits. Sharing of Information
We may share or transfer your information as follows:
• With our affiliates for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
• With vendors, consultants, and service providers who need access to this information to carry out work on our behalf.
• With third parties for their services and marketing purposes, unless you opt out of such sharing by contacting us.
• In response to a lawful request for information, disclosure consistent with applicable laws and regulations, or as otherwise required by law.
• When we believe your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies or to protect or enforce our rights, property, and safety or the     rights, property, and safety of others.

• With your consent or at your direction, including instances where we inform you through the Services that specific information you provide will be     shared in a particular manner.

Additionally, when using the Services, you may choose to disclose information about yourself to others, such as on profile pages or other services.

Data Retention
By creating a BANDS account, you provide consent for BANDS to collect and store specific personal data, including but not limited to Royalty Earnings from Streaming Services, Track Registrations, and other related user data. This consent allows us to retain and process your data to ensure the ongoing functionality of our services.

If you choose to delete your BANDS account in the Profile Settings section of the BANDS app, this action will be interpreted as a withdrawal of the consent previously provided. Upon receiving such a withdrawal, we will initiate the deletion of your personal data within 30 days, unless retaining the data is necessary for legitimate business purposes, such as paying out publishing administration royalties, compliance with legal obligations, fraud prevention, or other essential functions.

Following applicable data protection laws, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to request the deletion, modification, or transfer of your data at any time. You may do so by contacting us via email (support@joinbands.co)  or through our web submission form: https://www.joinbands.co/delete-my-data. Upon receiving a valid request, we will confirm the request within 10 business days and complete the deletion, modification, or transfer of your data within 30 days.

Please be aware that if you do not submit a formal deletion request or delete your BANDS account, and instead only delete the BANDS app or cancel your subscription, your personal data will be retained in our systems. This retention is part of our standard business practices, which allow us to provide ongoing services, such as enabling you to re-download the app or access free features that do not require a subscription. We are committed to safeguarding your data, and it will remain securely stored unless you explicitly request its deletion or choose to delete your account permanently.

If we are unable to comply with your request within the specified timeframe due to legal obligations or other exceptional circumstances, we will notify you and provide a revised timeline for completion.

Cookies

Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default, but you have the option to customize your browser settings to either delete or decline browser cookies. It's worth noting that deciding to remove or reject cookies could affect the accessibility and performance of our services.

"Do Not Track"
Certain web browsers provide a privacy feature referred to as "Do Not Track" (DNT), which users have the option to activate. It's important to note that we do not recognize or comply with DNT signals or similar mechanisms sent by web browsers.

Promotional Communications
You are in control when it comes to deciding whether or not to receive promotional messages from us. It's important to note that even if you decide not to receive promotional materials, we may continue to send you non-promotional messages, such as those related to your account or our ongoing business interaction.

Mobile Push Notifications/Alerts
With your permission, we have the capability to send notifications, both promotional and non-promotional, to your mobile device. You retain the option to disable these notifications whenever you choose by modifying the notification settings on your mobile device.

Supplemental Notice for California Residents
This Supplemental Notice for California Residents supplements our Privacy Policy and only applies to our processing of personal information concerning the Enterprise Dashboard that is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (as amended from time to time) (“CCPA”). The CCPA provides California residents with the right to know what categories of personal information BANDS has collected about them and whether BANDS disclosed that personal information for a business purpose (e.g., to a service provider), whether BANDS “sold” that personal information, and whether BANDS “shared” that personal information for “cross-context behavioral advertising” in the preceding 12 months. California residents can find this information about the categories of personal information collected and the purposes for which we use personal information as described above in this Privacy Policy. We will retain personal information in accordance with the time periods set forth in “Data Retention” above. We do not “sell” or “share” the personal information of California consumers as such terms are defined under the CCPA. Although some of the information we collect and process about you may be considered sensitive personal information, we only process such information for purposes authorized by law, such as to provide services you request from us.

Your Privacy Rights

According to the CCPA, you have the potential rights to:

-Confirm the personal information we've gathered about you, including the types and sources of data collected, the reasons for collecting, selling,   or sharing it, the parties it's shared with, and the specific information we've gathered (the right to know).
-Request corrections to your personal information if it's inaccurate (the right to correct).
-Request the deletion of your personal information, with certain exceptions (the right to delete).
-If we sell or share your personal information, you can ask us to cease such practices (the right to opt out).
-Exercise your CCPA rights without facing any discriminatory treatment from us.

This verification process may entail requesting sufficient information to establish that you are the person for whom we've collected personal information, or confirming that you're an authorized representative.

Children's Information
Our Services are not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13, and we do not intentionally gather personal data from children.

These third-party services are beyond our jurisdiction. We strongly advise our users to thoroughly review the privacy policies of each website and application they engage with. We do not support, scrutinize, or grant approval, nor do we take responsibility for the privacy measures or content of these external websites or applications. The act of disclosing personal information to third-party websites or applications is done at your own discretion and entails inherent risks.

Instagram Verification
-No Storage of Login Information: BANDS does not store any of your Instagram login credentials, including your username or password. When you log in to your Instagram account through BANDS, your login information is transmitted directly to Instagram for authentication purposes only.
-Direct Connection to Instagram: You are logging in directly to your Instagram account through our app, and there is no intermediary storage or access to your login details by BANDS. Your credentials are securely transmitted to Instagram's servers for verification.
-No Third-Party Access: BANDS does not access, collect, or share your Instagram data with any third-party entities. Your Instagram account information is solely used for the purpose of identity verification within our app.
